Guidelines for CONTRIBUTORS
About the
Journal
The Social
Science Journal of Gargaon College is a Peer-Reviewed
Journal published annually in January by the Gargaon
College, Simaluguri. The Journal intends to provide an
academic platform among the academicians, thinkers and
scholars to analyze various issues pertinent to the field of
social science in the country in general, and Assam in
particular.
Preparation
of Manuscripts
The manuscripts
of the full paper and an abstract of the paper should be
prepared using double-spacing throughout in Times New Roman
Font with 12 Font Size. The full paper should be within
10000 words and the abstract of the paper should be prepared
within 200 words. The full paper should contain
introduction, objectives, methodology, results and
discussion and conclusion. The manuscript accepted for
publication is subject to copy editing required for the
Journal. We will not be returned the manuscripts to the
author.

Manuscripts
Submission
Two print copies
of the manuscripts along with an electronic version (either
CD or email) should be submitted to the chief editor. The
papers submitted for publication must be original and not
published anywhere earlier of the contributor. The
literature used in the study should duly be acknowledged by
proper referencing, but under no circumstances the work done
by others be produced for publication. Moreover, the
contributors should not reproduce the papers published in
Social Science Journal of Gargaon College for publication
elsewhere. The author is/authors are solely responsible for
the contents of the article. The views expressed therein do
not, in any way, reflect the views and policies of the Chief
Editor, the Editorial Board, the Publisher and the College
Authority.
